Bill and Gola first met through their common work in community based restorative justice. Their friendship was unique, and built on a common interest in history, philosophical traditions, interpersonal neurobiology (yes, really) and ultimately, a shared desire to make the world a better place. In October of 2012, Bill and Gola were married. That same month, The Atlantic Restorative Company (ARC) was born.

As a local and family owned business, ARC is committed to strengthening community. We work to support organizations in their own journeys towards being safe, equitable, inclusive, and resilient communities where everyone can thrive and be their “best self”. We know that sharing stories, having the courage to be vulnerable, and being deliberate about making time for respectful dialogue on difficult topics is how this happens. Our approach is simple: we put relationships at the centre of everything we do. We do this because we have experienced, time and again, that if you get the relationships right, every else will fall into place. You just have to get the relationships right.
